The Echo chamber dilemmaThe promise of the Internet was that unlimited information and experiences would draw us together. But instead it seems to have driven us apart.
For years I've observed this behavior but haven't been able to vocalize it correctly. Originally I called the behavior of collective opinions as "the hive mentality" of the Internet. But that wasn't exactly right and I often got called out on it. The most prominent example was when I made a comic about a guy disagreeing with opinions and being shouted at till he remained quiet, eventually fading into the background with everyone else. The consensus of that comic was that if you disagree with someone you aren't bullied into not speaking, but instead are free to go someplace else where people who do agree with you exist. And you know what? That wasn't what i was trying to convey, but is sadly true. The Internet is not a hive mind. It's many tiny pocket echo chambers of mutual agreements.

How to Join

Its easy!!! Just click the join button!!! All members are automatically approved! no wait time! Only members will be able to submit to our gallery and faves.
Examples:

How Many deviations can a Members submit?

A #HDR-Club member can submit up to 1 deviations per week regardless of gallery folder.. Each submission will be subjected to the voting process... If declined we will give you a reason why.

How do I submit a Deviation?

Its really Easy!! Click on the Artwork Tab on the top of our groups page.

Then Click on the Contribute to this Gallery Button.

A pop up will appear with your gallery. You can now choose which deviations you wish to submit.

make sure you are submitting to the correct folder, select your deviations, and click the green submit button! Your deviation is now in the voting process, Which shouldn't take long.

I was declined!!!

Yes it happens. but 80% of the time you will be declined based on how you submitted to the gallery. (wrong Gallery folder) We Don't have many rules, but we encourage you to read over What to Submit & Where to Place it This will help you get declined less.
I want to add we will Rarely reject any of your art. Rejections only happen when you submit a deviation of very poor quality. We will simply tell you which gallery folder it is better suited in.

What type of art?

We only accept high dynamic range imaging (HDRI or just HDR). A HDR image is a set of techniques that allow a greater dynamic range of luminance between the lightest and darkest areas of an image than current standard digital imaging techniques or photographic methods.

Images should be of good quality and follow dA rules of submission - correct size and correct category. If it is too blurry, grainy, or high contrast there is a chance you could be declined!

No Nudity!!

You can submit your own Art to Group Gallery, or suggest a none members work to our favorites collection found here ~> [link]

I want to remove a deviation from the group.

How do you do that? Its quite simple!
Find the deviation you want to remove and click the Edit Deviation button on the right.

Under the category section you will see a list of group names that your deviation is currently submitted in. Find our groups name and click the little red X next to it.

Scroll down and hit Save Changes button and your deviation has now been removed from our Group.
