Featured Folder
If you haven't already noticed I have opened up the featured folder. Only the very best images will be selected, anything not following standard photography rules or too overdone will not get a look in.
If you can get 3 pics in the featured folder I will run a feature on you as an artist, selecting 10 or so images from your gallery for the whole of DA to see so please, only select your best art for this folder as I knock most back without a thought.
Good luck :)
Expired submissions...
Good Morning people
A few submissions have recently expired. If yours is one of those i am very sorry but i have been away on Holiday with my family. Well it was actually my Honeymoon so all in all i have been away for about 3 weeks.

Now the rules.......
1) All images for the challenge are to be submitted to the corresponding submission folder. The images MUST contain either EXIF data or a note from your mum saying its a HDR image along with
Actual HDR Work
As software and skills develop it becomes more difficult to distinguish a HDR image from a well laid out shot. I now myself prefer HDR images that do not have the over zealous halo effect or that are very dirty and heavily manipulated.
So a plea to you all..............
It is getting to the point where I am spending 5 minutes or so trying to look for clues in images that it is indeed a HDR shot, my life would be made more simple by making sure you include the EXIF data in your shot. This will then show on your own gallery image what camera was used, the shooting data and the software used to edit the image.
If you cannot guarantee the EXIF

I agree sometimes can be really over cooked. That's when I often us photomatix using the fusion instead of tone mapping
