As an addition to this journal, I'd like to begin by thanking skylinephoto for extending our sub until September 16, 2009. My ineptitude in checking these things meant I overlooked this little tidbit until tonight. I'd like to add this feature of some of John's photos:

This Week's Assignment</a>

Sent to us from the fine hand of TheFulkrum.

Verbatim, his suggestion is as follows: "JUST as a mini-contest I think asking for HDR photographs with the most hues, tones etc. would be nice. I'd love to see incredibly coloured HDR's with a huge spectrum of colours."</a>

You heard the man: HUES, TONES,</a> and HUGE SPECTRUM OF COLORS</a>.

The usual rules are:
-Members may submit one (1) deviation which fits the assigmnent criteria - Use your judgement when it comes to COLOR...in other words, pretty well only b&w shots will be rejected here. COLOR COLOR COLOR COLOR COLOR - There, I said it 5 times...
-You may submit shots uploaded to dA at any time, so long as they fit the criteria of HUES, TONES and COLOR!
-Deadline for you submissions is Wednesday September 2, 2009;
-Send submissions in note form with the subject 'COLOR Assignment'.
